Small actions can make a big difference.
On Sunday, November 23rd, NCJWC Toronto collected donations for local not-for-profit organizations and communities in need.
THE COMMUNITY DID A GREAT MITZVAH!
Thank you NCJWC Toronto for making MITZVAH DAY 2023 a huge success! We salute our members and friends for helping over 2660 people in their time of need in Toronto and in Israel.
TOGETHER WE:
-Collected winter items and made sandwiches and cookies for Ve’Ahavta
-Collected toys for Chai Lifeline
-Collected purses and toiletries for Fill a Purse for a Sister
-Wrote letters to Israeli soldiers to be delivered through the Thank a Soldier Campaign
-Played Bingo and provided refreshments for appreciative residents from a supported housing project in the GTA
What an incredible community! What a wonderful group of women!
