This coming spring, 2022, NCJWC Toronto is launching a new campaign that aligns with our mission to serve our community and care for the needs of the most vulnerable.
Funds raised will provide a new pair of running shoes to every child being subsidized to attend summer camp through Jewish Family and Child Service.
This initiative aligns with our mission to serve our community and address the needs of the most vulnerable. Our goal is to provide funding to purchase a new pair of running shoes to every child being subsidized to attend summer camp through Jewish Family and Child Service.
Children are constantly outgrowing their shoes and yet every child loves a new pair of runners! Running shoes are expensive for parents to constantly replace. We are initiating this project to help the neediest in our community and work together to help out.
With your participation, our general membership and participating branches can help raise $7500 by May 31, 2022.
This will enable us to send 100 children to camp with shiny new runners, courtesy of NCJWC Toronto. Any excess funds raised will be allocated to each child to support the purchase of clothing or items needed to ensure the kids are sent off to camp with everything they need.
