National Council of Jewish Women of Canada, Toronto and the L'Chaim Program are curating a new social initiative for Jewish women with cancer. We are hoping to bring together a group of young Jewish women who seek friendship, support and laughter during their cancer journey.

Over 400 women joined us on October 26th, when Chabad of Thornhill Woods hosted a special event to honour breast cancer survivors. This event was also in support of NCJWC Toronto, L'Chaim program.

Helen Weisbrod was a long-standing member of the National Council of Jewish Women of Canada, Toronto. Helen's family established this scholarship in her memory to provide opportunities to a worthy student requiring financial assistance.
