NCJWC Toronto Projects Teaching Awareness Through Puppetry

Teaching Awareness Through Puppetry

Chair: Laura Berkley

NCJWC Toronto is a sponsor of Teaching Awareness through Puppetry (formerly known as Kids on the Block). TAP is an interactive awareness program that includes presentations about disabilities and different medical conditions through lively scripted puppet performances. Performances can be for an individual classroom or an entire school.

Topics include Bullying, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalus and Haemophilia. Programs for grades 1-3 and 4-6 follow the Ontario Curriculum Guidelines, including a unique program for girls in grades 6-8 that raises awareness of Healthy Body and Lifestyle Choices.

For more information please visit http://tap-toronto.com or call (416) 964-9095.
